Overview of Dia. 219mm Length 9000mm Stainless Steel 316L Food Grade Tubular Screw Conveyor Feeder:
The tubular screw conveyor is divided into two types in the form of conveying: the shaft screw conveyor and the shaftless screw conveyor., and it is divided into U-shaped screw conveyor and tubular screw conveyor in appearance. The shaft screw conveyor is suitable for non-sticky dry powder materials and small particle materials (such as cement, fly ash, lime, grain etc.), while the shaftless screw conveyor is suitable for conveying sticky and easily entangled materials. (e.g. sludge, biomass, garbage etc.)
Working Principle of Dia. 219mm Length 9000mm Stainless Steel 316L Food Grade Tubular Screw Conveyor Feeder:
Screw conveyor makes use of rotating screw transfering materials along the fixed casing. The rotating spiral blade moves the material to perform screw conveyance, and the force that makes the material not rotate with the screw blade is the frictional resistance of the material's own weight and the screw conveyor casing to the material. Spiral blades are welded to the rotary shaft of the screw conveyor. The surface shape of the blade has solid surface type, belt surface type, blade surface type and other types according to the different materials being conveyed. The screw shaft of the screw conveyor has a thrust bearing at the end of the material moving direction to give the screw axial reaction force with the material. When the machine length is long, an intermediate hanging bearing should be added.
Application of Dia. 219mm Length 9000mm Stainless Steel 316L Food Grade Tubular Screw Conveyor Feeder:
It is widely used in various industries, such as building materials, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, coal, grain etc. It is suitable for horizontal or inclined conveying powder, granulated and small lump materials, such as coal, ash, slag, cement, grain etc. Material temperature is less than 200℃.
Screw conveyor is not suitable for conveying materials those are perishable, big viscosity and easy to agglomerate.
If conveying angle of inclination is oversize, please choose the GX series screw conveyor.
